CPSM1 Foundation of Supply Management
This course focuses on management and improvement of supply chain processes and performance. It will be valuable for students who would like to pursue a career in consulting or take a position in operations, marketing or finance functions in a manufacturing or distribution firm. We explore important supply chain metrics, primary tradeoffs in making supply chain decisions, and basic tools for effective and efficient supply chain management, production planning and inventory control, order fulfillment and supply chain coordination. CPSM Eligibility Requirements
Earning a CPSM designation requires you to take and pass three exams, which can be taken in any order:
• Supply Management Core
• Supply Management Integration
• Leadership and Transformation in Supply Management
Candidates must have three years of full-time, professional supply management experience (nonclerical and
nonsupport) with a bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution or international equivalent or five
years of full-time, professional supply management experience (nonclerical and nonsupport) without a qualified
bachelors degree.
All applicable experience must be in a professional position where the primary function is supply management.
Professional experience is usually defined as positions with decision-making authority and where independent
judgement is exercised. ISM does not require a candidate to work in all areas of supply management or be in a
management position. Proof of work experience is not required from those with a current C.P.M. certification.
ISM will evaluate work experience for candidates unsure if their current or previous positions are considered
applicable. The evaluation is optional, and there is a nominal charge.
The work-experience evaluation process allows a candidate to submit work experience documentation prior
to taking exams. ISM will return an evaluation to the candidate indicating if the experience is acceptable.
Candidates with acceptable experience should submit the evaluation with their original certification application
after they have passed the exams.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest emphasised the extraordinary growth in the Khadi Gramodyog sector, revealing that the annual turnover has skyrocketed from ₹20-22 thousand crore in 2014 to a staggering Rs 1.34 lakh crore in the past nine years. He added, “This 1.34 crore has not gone to any four five family, but it benefited thousands of families in form of amount of ₹10 thousand, ₹20 thousand, 30 thousand etc”.
He further emphasised the untapped potential of this sector, asserting that with a little technological support and heightened consumer awareness, this turnover could easily reach a remarkable ₹5 lakh crore per annum turnover. Painting a vivid future, he envisioned India as one of the top three global economies of the future, particularly as the nation approaches its centenary of independence.
Professor J K Pattanayak, Director of IIT (ISM), praised the government's visionary approach to infuse Khadi with modern sensibilities. He emphasised the need for Khadi to resonate with the fashion-conscious youth, ensuring it remains a symbol of contemporary style.

In addition, separately, saturation will be ensured for PMJAY, Sickle Cell Disease Elimination, TB Elimination, 100 per cent immunisation, PM Surakshit Matritva Yojana, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, PM Poshan, PM Jan Dhan Yojana etc. "In a step that will showcase yet another example of the commitment of the Prime Minister towards the welfare of farmers, the 15th instalment amount of about Rs 18,000 crores under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN), will be released through direct benefits transfer to more than 8 crore beneficiaries," said the release.
Under the scheme, till now, more than Rs 2.62 lakh crores have been transferred to farmers' accounts in 14 instalments, added the official statement. As part of the Rs 24,000-crore PM PVTG Mission, basic facilities such as road and telecom connectivity, electricity, safe housing, clean drinking water and sanitation, improved access to education, health and nutrition and sustainable livelihood opportunities will be provided to areas where these tribal groups live as these are mostly remote, scattered and inaccessible, the official said.
Around 28 lakh PVTGs belonging to 75 tribes live in 22,544 villages in 220 districts across 18 states and UTs, he said.

During the roadshow, BJP workers and leaders will greet him at 10 locations along the route, including Birsa Chowk, Harmu Chowk and Ratu Road roundabout, party office-bearers said.

In view of the PM's roadshow, traffic restrictions have been imposed along the stretch from the airport to Raj Bhavan from 8 pm to 10.30 pm.
Meanwhile, the Ranchi district administration has imposed Section 144 of CrPC from 6 pm on November 14 to 11 am in Ranchi Municipal Corporation area on November 15, prohibiting any rally or demonstration without prior permission in view of the proposed stir of State Level Panchayat Swayam Sevak Sangh (SLPSSS), which planned to gherao the CM's residence on Wednesday.
The SLPSSS had earlier staged protests to press for their demands, including fixation of remuneration and regularisation of the services of panchayat volunteers.

He added, “This 1.34 crore has not gone to any four five family, but it benefited thousands of families in form of amount of ₹10 thousand, ₹20 thousand, 30 thousand etc”.
He further emphasised the untapped potential of this sector, asserting that with a little technological support and heightened consumer awareness, this turnover could easily reach a remarkable ₹5 lakh crore per annum turnover. Painting a vivid future, he envisioned India as one of the top three global economies of the future, particularly as the nation approaches its centenary of independence.
Professor J K Pattanayak, Director of IIT (ISM), praised the government's visionary approach to infuse Khadi with modern sensibilities. He emphasised the need for Khadi to resonate with the fashion-conscious youth, ensuring it remains a symbol of contemporary style.
Prof Dheeraj Kumar, who also present during the occasion, said, “The basic idea behind organizing the Khadi Mahtosav is to promote the idea of Vocal for Local and AtmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyan as envisioned by Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.”
Echoing the sentiment, Professor Saumya Singh, President of ACIC IIT (ISM) Foundation, highlighted the event's core objective: to create a platform where indigenous products can compete on a global scale.
